Motorcycle Mania

My husband is a motorcycle fanatic and for the past couple of years we have attended the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca.  While the races may be exciting for some, I have to admit that I find the stroll and picture taking opportunities down Cannery Row in Monterey after the races even more interesting.  On this trip, I brought my Kodak EasyShare One and Canon cameras.  On Friday and Saturday night of the race weekend, Cannery Row is shut down to automobile traffic and hundreds of motorcycles are lined up all the way down the row.

It's fun to look at all of the different personalized motorcycles and helmets.  Not only can personalization tell you a little about someone's personality, it can also be practical as well!  How else do you think these motorcyclists can find their bikes at the end of the day or keep track of their friends (via unique helmets) as they ride on the road among hundreds of other bikers?

Interested in more motorcycle pictures on Cannery Row?  Here are a few on flickr.
